Offers labelled Demo data are synthetic. They exist so the multi-store basket split can be demonstrated for retailers Purevise cannot yet read, and they are never presented as real prices. You can hide them entirely with the “Verified prices only” filter on any results page.

Where real prices come from

Purevise reads the structured product data retailers publish for machines to consume, such as schema.org product markup and standard e-commerce platform microdata, and only on paths the retailer’s own robots.txt permits. It reads at a deliberately slow pace, identifies itself honestly, and stops when a retailer declines to serve it. It does not attempt to get around bot protection, and it does not touch checkout, account or internal API endpoints.

  Retailer's own help page states 'Free Standard Shipping with any US$35 purchase'. The below-threshold standard fee is NOT published on that page, so flatRate stays null. Secondary sources reported $49; the retailer's own page is treated as authoritative. Delivery window is a published range, not a guarantee.

  Read from published product data. Ships from Hong Kong / Japan.

  UNVERIFIED. The shipping-policy page could not be read during this build (HTTP 404 on the expected help URL) and no authoritative numeric threshold was obtained. Threshold deliberately left null so the optimizer reports shipping as determined at retailer checkout rather than inventing a number.

  UNVERIFIED. No authoritative threshold obtained during this build. Left null so shipping is reported as unknown until retailer checkout.

Demo-only stores

• Olive Young Global

  UNVERIFIED, reported ~$60 by secondary sources only; official page returned HTTP 404 during this build. MATERIAL RISK: a 2026 secondary source reports Olive Young Global suspended shipping to the United States. Must be verified before this retailer is enabled in production; see docs/retailer-integration.md.

• StyleKorean

  UNVERIFIED, reported $150 by a secondary comparison article. Not read from the retailer's own policy page. Treated as an estimate and labelled as such in the UI.

How products are matched

Two listings are treated as the same product only when the brand matches exactly, the size is compatible, a single unit is not being compared with a multipack, and the names are similar enough. Anything short of that stays a separate product, because showing you a price for something you are not buying is worse than showing you fewer comparisons. Every match records its reasoning, visible on the product page.

How the basket split works

Purevise tries every combination of the stores that carry your items, gives each item to the cheapest store in that combination, then checks whether moving an item somewhere dearer would lower the total by clearing a free-shipping threshold. It prefers a plan it can actually total, and it counts a second checkout as a real cost to you, so it will not send you to another store to save pennies.

Where a retailer does not publish a shipping rate we could verify, that store’s shipping is excluded from the total and labelled, rather than estimated.
