Privacy

Purevise keeps as little as it can. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and we never sell or share what we hold.

In your browser

Your bag, saved products and a random session id are kept in your browser’s own storage so they survive a reload and the trip to a store. The id is not linked to you unless you give us your email. Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it.

We set two cookies, both our own and neither readable by any script: one keeps you signed in, and one is a random visitor id, set the first time you follow a link to a store, so we can match that click to you if you later tell us you ordered. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we do not set the visitor id.

What reaches our server

• Shopping events, such as searches, products viewed, items added to your bag and clicks through to a store, with that session id and the country our network provider (Cloudflare) sees your connection from. Not your IP address. We use them to understand what works, and to learn which products people put in the same bag. Deleted after 13 months.
• Clicks through to a store: which product and store, the price we showed, the visitor id above, and whether you told us you ordered. Deleted after 13 months.
• Answers to our questions at checkout, if you choose to answer, with the same ids. Please don’t put personal details in the text box. Deleted after 13 months.
• Your email, only if you give it, with a record of your consent: exactly what you agreed to, when, from which IP address and browser, and your time zone so we email at sensible hours. The IP address is kept only as proof of consent. It is not used to track you.

Your account

Before a link takes you to a store, we ask you to create a free account: your first name and your email address, with a password or a one-time code we email you. You can skip it and go straight to the store. If you do create one, we keep them, with the products you save, until you delete the account from your account page. Having an account does not put you on any email list; the boxes below do that, and only if you tick them.

Email

You choose what we send. Each is a separate, unticked box:

• “Email me this bag, and when something in it gets cheaper or comes back in stock.”
• “Email me when something I love on Purevise gets cheaper or comes back in stock.”
• “Email me deals and price drops from Purevise.”

We send nothing until you confirm from your inbox. An unconfirmed address is deleted after a week. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep only your address and the date, so that we never email you again.

Stores

When you follow a link to a store, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies. We do not send them anything about you. Where we are in a store’s affiliate programme, the link carries a random id for that one click, so the store can credit us if you buy; it is left off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. To see or delete what we hold about your email address, write to privacy@purevise.com. We answer within 30 days.
